This is one of those spots where time seems to just disappear and before you know it you're watching the sun disappear behind the horizon. It's a beautiful place to be and is suitable for all surfers.
The beach is pretty spectacular, it just looks like an endless line of golden sand with trees and fields behind it. It's a pretty quiet location and you'll often find that you are surfing here on your own so if you don't like the big city feel of other places this one might be for you.
Conditions are best here when the wind is coming from the west or the south-west and the swell is coming from the south-east, east or north-east. It works on both rising and falling tides and at all tide positions and the waves will start at about 1 m before building up to a maximum of just over 2 m. It is a beach break, both left and right, and the waves are fun as they are often hollow and fast. Length can be a bit of a letdown as it might only be about 50 m unless you catch it on a good day when it can be out over 100 m.
There is very little here to be honest, it is a remote spot and you can't even park close to the break. You are going to have to park as close as you can and then walk across the grassland, so make sure you take all your belongings with you. If you want to stay over you can either camp or there is a nearby holiday park which has rentals.
You can surf here to your heart content and not have to worry about anything.
